Located in North Raleigh, the Historic Wakefield Barn is an event space truly unlike any other. The National Historic Site hosts multiple indoor and outdoor spaces for every party to enjoy. From the separate Bridal House to Main Barn, your guests will be transported to a hidden gem located right outside of the city center.

Within the Main Barn there are two stories (the Stables and the Great Hall) that DJ Intershade fills with sound, lighting, and special effects. As a family owned business, we absolutely love working with DJ Intershade, and call him first whenever we have special events. With a capacity of over 300 guests the space is large and intimate at the same time, hosting a range of events: weddings, corporate events, elopements, galas, fashion shows, etc. Two horses currently live onsite and add to the spacious and unique atmosphere. One of our favorite memories of DJ Intershade is hosting him at one of our team member’s family wedding last December. Not only did he understand how to best utilize the space, but he uplifted it and brought all the guests together from the start of cocktail hour to the end of the reception.
